Queen Sizzles -- Smokes Knighthawks for 5 Hits Tuesday, August 2nd , 2022 Ben Queen had an answer for everything the Despard Knighthawks threw at him at Spectres Grounds. The Norfolk catcher went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Spectres a win, 13-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Queen said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Ben Queen hit a solo-shot off Dan Wood in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. For the year, Queen is batting .333 with 1 home run. |
