Four-bagger Feast: Hinrichs Slugs 3 for Isleton Wednesday, June 19th , 2019 Isleton left fielder Eric Hinrichs blasted three homers today at Spiders Stadium in the 8-3 Spiders victory over the Boise Tropics. For the game, Eric Hinrichs scored 3 times and knocked in 6 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Hinrichs when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Hinrichs told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Eric Hinrichs hit a solo-shot off Sal Gonzalez in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Sal Gonzalez in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Joe McGregor in the 5th and struck out in the 6th. For the year Hinrichs has hit .368 with 20 home runs, 42 RBIs and scored 29 runs. |
