Hoy Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Saturday, August 13th , 2022 The hitting streak for Ontario catcher Jonathan Hoy now stands at 20 games, but the Waveriders dropped today's contest 3-2 to the Oaklawn-Sunview Fire Fighters. Hoy went 2-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Jonathan Hoy singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jose Hernandez in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
