July's Best Hurler in SL2 is Dodds Monday, August 1st , 2022 Over the past month Alvin Dodds has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Sub League 2. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Newark Jays posted 5-0 mark and a 0.51 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 35.1 innings, permitted 15 hits and fanned 32 batters. This year, Dodds has posted a record of 12 wins and 3 losses with a 1.97 ERA. He has appeared in 20 games and struck out 108 in 128 innings. |
