Silver Knights Dominate, Sweep Division Series
|
The Lakeside Park Silver Knights made it look easy and are heading to the League Championship Series.
They have ousted the Springdale T-Bones in a sweep, the final win coming by a 3-2 score, clinching the 3-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said Aaron Boone, who was named MVP for the series.
Boone hit .667 with a .750 on-base percentage. He added 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 4 runs.
The Lakeside Park Silver Knights don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Irving Baycats - Millsap Oceanics series. Irving leads the series 2 games to 0. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
