Great Stroke: Miller Gets 5 Hits
Even as a kid, Nick Miller said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Sky Sox Park, Miller showed how well he learned that lesson.

The 22-year-old third baseman had 5 hits in 9 at-bats for the Saltillo Sky Sox, helping his team knock off the Buffalo Horned Frogs by a score of 14-13.

"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did."

Nick Miller doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, hit a two-run double in the 9th, singled in the 11th, struck out in the 12th, flied out in the 14th, flied out in the 16th and singled in the 17th.

This year, Miller has hit at a .300 clip with 19 RBIs, 4 home runs and 14 runs scored.
