Arlington's Galvez Snaps Up July Batting Award Wednesday, August 1st , 2040 Nelson Galvez made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Western League this past month. The Arlington Stars first baseman shined through the month of July and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .307 with 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 28 runs scored. So far this year, Galvez is batting .243 with 16 home runs. |
