Kennewick Tri-City and Billings duked it out and the Atoms came out victorious.

Kennewick Tri-City Atoms starter Steve Losoya pitched a strong game against the Billings Bighorns at New Sanders-Jacobs Field, leading the Atoms to victory, 3-1. Sean Watson picked up the save for Kennewick Tri-City, his 10th of the year.

Kennewick Tri-City took a 2-1 lead on Ruben Montejano's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Montejano hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Billings pitcher Rafael Raygoza visibly frustrated.

Kennewick Tri-City manager J.J. Smith praised his team's "businesslike approach."
