Kennewick Tri-City starter Steve Losoya kept the Coeur d'Alene hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 12-1. Losoya got the win, improving to 6-4. He gave up 2 hits and walked 1 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs. With the win over Coeur d'Alene, the Atoms improved to 32-22.

John Poor was 1-5, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Kennewick Tri-City. The 31-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a 2-run single off Aaron McClain. It was his 48th hit of the season.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Ken Boggs.
