Kennewick Tri-City turned a good performance from starting pitcher Yong-jik Koo into a 7-1 triumph over the Pocatello Old Timers at Dunkin' Donuts Park. Today's win puts Kennewick Tri-City at 11-7, while Pocatello falls to 8-10.

The Atoms got a big hit from designated hitter John Poor. Facing Pocatello pitcher Kyle Longacre in the top of the sixth, Poor pounded a 2-run double to right. His 4th double of the season put the Atoms ahead, 5-1.

"Yong-jik pitched like a son-of-a-gun," said Kennewick Tri-City manager J.J. Smith.
