No Late-Season Magic Coming: Colorado Springs Out of Playoffs Monday, September 10th , 2007 The Colorado Springs Longhorns will play out the rest of the schedule, but they will do so without any chance of making the playoffs. The club was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Before this season, the Longhorns last missed the playoffs in 2005. In the 15 years they have been a MLB Class A franchise, they have made the playoffs 5 times. Colorado Springs has won the World Series 2 times in their history. |
