Yonkers Southpaw Tosses 5-0 Shutout Sunday, July 30th , 2006 The Louisville Bombers met their match today in Yonkers hurler Zach T. Jackson. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Louisville skipper Matt Hutchens said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 5-0 victory, Jackson whiffed 9 and gave up no walks. In 21 starts this season, Jackson has chalked up a 12-4 record and a 1.34 ERA. |
