Kepke Honored by Sub League 1 Monday, June 3rd , 2002 The premier performer in the Sub League 1 this week was Steve Kepke of the Bonnerdale Bats. The hot-hitting 31-year-old first baseman put up a .423 average and .448 on-base percentage, piling up 11 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 8 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the SL1 Player of the Week honors. Currently Kepke is hitting .298 and has collected 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and scored 27 times, while playing in 48 games. |
