Playoffs? No Chance for Louisville Monday, August 13th , 2007 Jerry Dipoto said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Louisville Bombers after they missed the MLB Double A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Louisville last appeared in the postseason in 2000. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 15-year history. |
