Reed Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, August 29th , 2004 Jeremy Reed extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games in the 5-4 Stamford triumph over the Washington Park Lobos. The 23-year-old Destroyers center fielder collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Jeremy Reed flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. On the season, Reed is batting .316 with 5 home runs and 51 RBIs.
