Frye Tags Lobos for 5 Hits

It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Jeff Frye of the Chandler Red Sox.

The Chandler second baseman gave it his all and dominated Washington Park Lobos pitching today at Fenway Park, finishing with a great 5-for-5 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Lobos going home the winner, 10-7.

"There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Frye said later. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead."

Jeff Frye singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

So far on the season Frye is hitting .396 with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 36 hits and played in 24 games.
