Hochevar Holds Fremont Scoreless Monday, July 30th , 2007 In an impressive outing, Luke Hochevar blanked the Fremont Rivermen 14-0. "I'm getting a lot more downward movement instead of side to side. That side-to-side stuff can get hit a long way," said Hochevar, who is throwing with more of an overhand motion. "It's not rocket science. It was just a little adjustment, but that's all it took." The Lubbock hurler held Fremont scoreless, allowed 3 hits, chalked up 5 strikeouts and yielded 1 walk. This season, Hochevar has compiled a 5-1 mark with a 4.17 ERA in 7 starts. |
