San Francisco Sweeps into the World Series
Sunday, October 15th , 1995
With a 6-3 win to wrap up the series at Olympic Stadium, the San Francisco Giants have eliminated the Montreal Expos in the League Championship Series and move on to the World Series.

San Francisco controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep.

Juan Gonzalez led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .438 batting average, along with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 4 runs.

"We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish."

The San Francisco Giants don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Boston Red Sox - Oakland Athletics series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
