Long Island Celebrates Playoff Clinch Monday, September 5th , 2039 It wasn't quick or easy for the Long Island Ducks, but they have clinched a berth in the postseason. While they couldn't capture the Atlantic League Liberty Division crown, the club has cinched up a wild card berth late in the season. "You come close to not getting a chance in the postseason and it starts to worry you," said second baseman Ming-an Shu. "This is a huge relief for our guys and we're going to celebrate it." The team will be looking for its 5th Atlantic League championship. |
