Silva 5-for-5 Against Twins Friday, August 12th , 2039 In a career performance, St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals center fielder Xavier Silva sparkled with the bat today at Las Américas Complex. Powering his way to a 5-for-5 line at the plate, Silva led the Cardinals to a 7-0 win over the Minnesota (DSL) Twins. Silva was in high spirits in the clubhouse after the game, joking with reporters that the big game had left him "winded." "Oh sure, 5 hits sounds great but think about how much more baserunning you have to do," he said with a smile. "Next time, I'm just going to take 5 walks." Xavier Silva singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Silva is hitting .373 in 2039 with 27 RBIs and 9 home runs.
