Phillips led his club to a 11-8 victory over the Seattle (CMPX) Mariners today at Peoria Sports Complex, smoking Seattle (CMPX) pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 20-year-old shortstop later called the victory "sweet." T.J. Phillips hit a two-run double in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
