Magallanes 5-for-6 Against Lexington Sunday, August 28th , 2039 It was almost a perfect day for Jordan Magallanes. The Rome first baseman displayed a hot bat today, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day, but something was missing: The Braves lost to the Lexington Legends, 6-5. Magallanes told BNN reporters after the game that luck was "fickle." Rome manager Stone Speer told the beat writers otherwise. "There was no luck today," the skipper said. "He got 5 hits because he has a solid approach to hitting and he put it all together today, and we lost because the rest of us didn't put it together so well." Jordan Magallanes walked in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, doubled in the 11th and flied out in the 12th.
