Torrid August Gets Henderson MID #1 Batter Trophy Thursday, September 1st , 2039 When Ali Henderson stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Midwest League Batter of the Month award. The young Peoria third baseman posted a .446 batting average with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 17 runs. Henderson also worked pitchers for 16 walks to post a .527 on-base percentage. This year Henderson has collected a .298 batting average to date with 133 hits in 446 at-bats, 61 RBIs, 15 home runs and scored 57 times. He has played in 127 games. |
