Doon at His Best, Whips Bees Wednesday, August 10th , 2039 Lake County Captains starter Lionardo Doon really did a number on the Burlington Bees today, shutting them out 3-0 on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 8 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Burlington manager Gabriel Garcia. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Doon."
