Lake County's Cargill to Miss 10 Months Monday, August 8th , 2039 Lake County Captains starting pitcher Itzhak Cargill left yesterday's game against the Burlington Bees after suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch. Cargill was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Cargill is expected to miss 10 months. Currently Cargill has a 13-4 won-lost record in 23 starts with a 3.10 ERA. He also has 137 strikeouts in 127.2 innings. |
