2B Wisner Receives 2-Game Suspension Thursday, May 12th , 2039 After receiving his suspension notification from the league office, Tommy Wisner of the Lansing Lugnuts told reporters, "Do the crime, do the time. I lost it yesterday and will accept the punishment." The Lugnuts second baseman lost his temper when he was called out on strikes in the game yesterday with Bowling Green. The consequence was a 2-game suspension. This season in 32 games Wisner is batting .294 with 3 home runs, 19 RBIs and has scored 13 times. |
