Bulls Short Out Rest Of Season Monday, July 18th , 2039 The season is finished for Harry Short of the Durham Bulls. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Bulls center fielder suffered a stretched elbow ligament while throwing the ball in a recent game against the Charlotte Knights. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal. In 22 games Short is hitting .241 this season with 20 hits, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs, 12 walks, .340 OBP and has scored 18 runs. |
