Hanrahan Rewarded with 2039 AL Most Valuable Player Award
Monday, November 14th , 2039
At the age of 25, Sean Hanrahan of the Chicago White Sox could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2039 was good enough to win the first baseman the American League Most Valuable Player Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .323 batting average this year, as well as a .446 on-base percentage. He played 155 games and racked up 168 hits, 34 doubles, 1 triple, 35 home runs, 100 RBIs and 107 runs scored.

Josh Stubbs of the Detroit Tigers finished second in voting, while Jose Simon Frye of the Detroit Tigers finished third.
