Colorado Wins Divisional Series Round Wednesday, October 12th , 2039 The Divisional Series Round may not have lived up to the expectation that it would be a dogfight that would go the distance. The Colorado Rockies, however, are not complaining. The Rockies were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the New York Mets to advance to the League Championship Series. Colorado won the final game by a 5-1 count at Colorado Field and the series 3-1. Rockies second baseman Eddie Zahrt was named series MVP, as he hit .375 with a .375 on-base percentage. He added 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. "It's not going to be the last time New York makes it to the playoffs, so it's sure a nice feeling to put them out this year," Zahrt said. "We just need to keep this going and take it day by day." The Colorado Rockies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Pittsburgh Pirates - St. Louis Cardinals series. Pittsburgh leads the series 2 games to 1.
