Brewers Okabe Suffers Setback Wednesday, October 12th , 2039 It was learned today in Milwaukee that starting pitcher Kosami Okabe would miss more time because his recovery from a fractured elbow was not going as well as expected. The Brewers, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Okabe would only miss 8-9 months more. Kosami Okabe is expected to undergo surgery in Milwaukee(Wisconsin) tomorrow. Okabe has made 23 starts this season, posting 9 wins and 5 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .239 against him and he has 119 strikeouts in 122.1 innings with a 3.24 ERA. |
