NL's Best Player Named Monday, September 26th , 2039 It was some kind of week for Freddy Sanford of the Philadelphia Phillies. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .571 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the National League. Last week Sanford went 12-for-21, chalked up 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. Sanford is batting .280 with 19 home runs and 39 RBIs this season. |
