Dodgers Robbie Wade Chalks Up 300th Save

With one well-thrown pitch, Los Angeles's 35-year-old reliever Robbie Wade found himself a new place in the record books. As the teams left the field at the end of the Dodgers 6-3 win over San Francisco Giants, the official scorer gave Wade the save, making him the newest member of the 300-save club. The Dodger Stadium crowd recognized this outstanding achievement with a standing ovation as he made his way to the dugout.
During his career, Wade has appeared in 692 games, saving 300.
