Ortiz Shuts Out Minnesota, 7-0 Wednesday, September 21st , 2039 The St. Louis Cardinals posted a 7-0 shutout over the Minnesota Twins today on the strength of a strong performance by Dave Ortiz. The Cardinals pitcher held the Twins to 4 hits while walking 1 and fanning 14 in the route-going win. "It feels good to be wearing a St. Louis Cardinals uniform today," the right-hander said following the game. Up to now Ortiz has compiled an ERA of 3.15 with a 7-10 mark over 32 starts.
