Miami Eliminated from Playoff Contention Saturday, September 17th , 2039 It has been a largely forgettable season for the Miami Marlins and now the club's playoff hopes are officially over. The Marlins were officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Miami last appeared in the postseason in 2003. This is their 36th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 45 times in their 47-year history. Miami last won the World Series in 2003. |
