Great Month Gets AL Top Rookie Trophy Thursday, September 1st , 2039 Phil Lafnear's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Boston left fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In August he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .340 with 12 doubles, no triples and 7 home runs. Lafnear also scored 23 times and drove in 26 runs. This season Lafnear is batting .277 with 31 home runs. He has scored 67 runs and driven in 94. |
