Los Angeles, Minnesota Trade Players Sunday, July 31st , 2039 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Minnesota Twins have agreed to a deal that will have 17-year old minor league RF Bernie Diaz heading to Minnesota in exchange for 33-year old LHP Vinny McFarland. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Minnesota will retain a portion of McFarland's remaining contract. This season Vinny McFarland has been credited with 12 saves. In 28 relief appearances and 29 innings pitched, he has a 1-6 won-lost mark, 4.66 ERA and 31 strikeouts |
