Torpedoes, RailCats Swap Players Saturday, July 30th , 2039 A trade was announced today at a press conference in Seattle. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Seattle Torpedoes general manager shook things up by acquiring 24-year old RHP Johnny Gonzalez and 23-year old 2B Kevin Hamilton from the Gary SouthShore RailCats for 30-year old LHP Mike Moore. "We're a better team now," Torpedoes general manager Elkyn Chirinos said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle." Seattle will retain a portion of Moore's remaining contract. This year Moore has fashioned a 2-3 mark, 2.93 ERA and pitched 46 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .273 against him and he has logged 36 strikeouts. |
