Kim King of the Hill, No-Hits Dinos Wednesday, September 21st , 2039 Kiwoom Heroes starter Jung-sik Kim came up big today at Masan Baseball Stadium with an exceptional 6-0 outing against the NC Dinos. Not only did he whip them, but Kim held them hitless, too. "My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Kim. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens." In the course of the no-hitter, Kim collected 6 strikeouts and surrendered 5 walks -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books. Thus far this season Kim has posted a 18-6 record, started 28 games, struck out 116 batters in 185 innings and compiled a 2.14 ERA. View Boxscore |
