Bees Topple Snappers with Late Rally
The Bees grabbed a win, 5-4, at Community Field, overcoming a fine effort from Beloit pitcher Kevin Yeater. Yeater went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Jeremy Rittwage snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-1 on the season. Andy Allen suffered the loss. Jeff Green earned the save, his 4th, for the Bees.

Burlington took the lead, 5-4, on Erik Russell's 7th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Russell hit in the bottom of the eighth, made Beloit pitcher Andy Allen wince.

"We take it day by day here," said Russell, "and today was a good one for us."

The 7th-place Bees are 28-33.
