Dominant Performance by Thompson in Bowling Green Win
The Bowling Green Hot Rods racked up a win at Bowling Green Ballpark, bumping off the Dayton Dragons, 3-0. Kyle Thompson, who started for Bowling Green, pitched effectively for his team. Mike Leister locked down his 8th save. Today's win puts Bowling Green at 22-39, while Dayton falls to 23-38.

The standout performance belonged to 19-year-old Thompson. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Hot Rods. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Dragons, striking out 7 and scattering 4 hits over 7 innings. Thompson is now 1-6 on the season.
