The win belongs to Victor Patino in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Vittorio Rizzi took the loss for Los Angeles. Los Angeles drops to 9-11.
Mike Chenoweth helped the cause in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. His at-bat contributed to the Houston win.
