Rawhide Rally For 3-2 Win
The Visalia Rawhide had to overcome a fine performance from Inland Empire pitcher Bobby Rohweder to grab a 3-2 win at San Manuel Stadium. Rohweder allowed 1 run over 8 innings. Chris Hofmann picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-5. He struck out 5 in 9 innings. The Rawhide now own a record of 21-32.

Visalia used a clutch hit from Jonathan Deal to snatch the win. The pinch hitter belted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rawhide ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"We'll savor this win," Deal told the Visalia Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
