Inland Empire and Lancaster got after it at The Hangar.

The Inland Empire 66ers had to overcome a big game from Lancaster right fielder Bob Worthman to leave The Hangar with a victory. And they did, winning 11-8. Worthman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Inland Empire pitcher Jose Herrera got the win. He's now 3-1. David Richardson was tagged with the loss.

One big at-bat came with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning. Brendan Vega hit a run-scoring single off Lancaster pitcher Josh Roth. The 66ers went on to win the game.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Vega told the Inland Empire Observer.

Inland Empire occupies second place in the South Division at 21-14.
