Frisco starter Keith Abrams pitched well against the Corpus Christi Hooks at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 8-6. Bob Zawisa, 7-7, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The last-place RoughRiders improved to 40-72.

Abrams sent the crowd into a frenzy when he belted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th. The clutch hit put his team in the win column.
