Steve Pope never let Jackson get something going. The Biloxi right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Shuckers to a 2-0 win. Pope picked up the win for Biloxi, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 5-12. The Shuckers sit in last place in the South Division with a record of 36-58.
Biloxi grabbed a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth when Danny Najera hit a run-scoring single. For the day, Najera was 1-3. He drove in 2 runs.
