Guardians Suffer 4-2 Setback
Fans of the Houston Astros who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a Houston win over the visiting Cleveland Guardians, 4-2. Andry Lara started for the home team against Alan May. Alan May earned accolades for his performance. Brandon Barriera nailed down his 1st save.

The Guardians had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Astros going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old second baseman Tony Bustamante came to the plate. Bustamante hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 fastball from Cleveland hurler Alan May. It was Bustamante's 1st double of the year.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Bustamante. "But I like how we're playing right now."
