Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Altoona Curve and Richmond Flying Squirrels.

Altoona starter B.J. Stasny had a strong outing against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at People's Natural Gas Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-2 win. Altoona reliever Steve Kammerdiener picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Steve McDonnell absorbed the loss.

In the bottom of the eighth, Chris Bianco delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Altoona catcher hit a 2-run double, putting the Curve in front, 3-2.

"That's baseball," said Richmond manager Ryan Ripken. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."

The loss makes Richmond 4-6.
