Getting offensive support from Chris Gray, the Altoona Curve topped the Bowie Baysox, 7-6. Gray was 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Curve. Altoona reliever Kevin Cabrera picked up the win, upping his record to 7-8. Mike Reinders was saddled with the loss. Altoona currently is in third place in the Western Division at 68-63.

Altoona won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Mike Reinders on the mound for Bowie, catcher Chris Bianco hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Curve fans to their feet.

"This place was rocking at the end," Bianco said.
