Juan Palacios was a vital contributor to the 7-3 Reading victory over Binghamton. The Fightin Phils second baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Reading now owns a record of 80-34.

The Fightin Phils grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With two out, Jen-kan Chua hit a 2-run home run off Jonathan Chenoweth, putting Reading in front, 7-3. For Chua, it was his 5th home run of the season.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Palacios.
