The Trenton Thunder picked up a win at Arm & Hammer Park, knocking off the Reading Fightin Phils, 4-3, in 12 innings. Starting pitcher Wes Donley played a key role in the triumph. Eric Gorsh snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-0 on the season. Tim Talbott suffered the loss. Trenton's record now stands at 57-43, placing them third in the Eastern Division.

The Thunder got a clutch hit from left fielder Billy Argyropoulos. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Thunder.

"I just tried to stick to my strengths," said Donley.
